The Florida Association of Medical Examiners (FAME) 2026 Educational Conference is designed to provide medical examiners, forensic pathologists, investigators, and multidisciplinary partners with high-quality continuing medical education focused on leadership, operations, and complex medicolegal death investigation. The program features expert-led sessions spanning specialized and unusual deaths, injury mechanisms, courtroom testimony, aviation and motorsports fatalities, emerging environments such as spaceflight, public health reporting, tissue donation, forensic anthropology, and workforce development to strengthen practice, collaboration, and public trust.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the Medical Educational Council of Pensacola (MECOP), the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators (ABMDI), and the Florida Association of Medical Examiners (FAME).
MECOP is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Medical Educational Council of Pensacola designates this live activity for a maximum of 18.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
The American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators (ABMDI) designates this live activity for a maximum of 17.75 credits.

FAME invites professionals, researchers, and subject-matter experts to submit proposals to present or speak at this year’s conference. Interested individuals should submit an abstract, a current CV, and key presentation points for consideration. All materials must be submitted via email to fameonline1970@gmail.com.
